All AFC’s teachers are highly qualified to teach French as second language and have extended experience in teaching different types of students including various companies and Canadian federal government employees. The AFC has a rigorous hiring process, and our team is composed of exceptional instructors who all possess Masters in FSL and most importantly are driven by passion for teaching French. They received training in communicative teaching style and have received mentoring in using the PFLS program. Regular observations and assessments of our instructors ensure the quality of their instruction. 

The AFC uses a highly communicative approach: our teaching style is focused on conversational French with active participation to make learning French a fun and successful experience. students will be speaking in French from the very first lesson. The instructors speak as much French as possible in the classroom to immerse the student with French. 

Alliance Française is offering a complete immersive French experience: from learning French to speaking French with many different people! Our instructors are from different Francophone countries. We promote the cultural diversity of Francophonie. Our students are exposed to both International and Canadian French.
