About Paul Taylor

British comedian Paul Taylor has been living in Paris since 2009. Passionate about stand-up comedy, he made his debut on stage in 2016 with his first bilingual show "#FRANGLAIS." In this show, he shares his experiences as an expat in France, often related to linguistic misunderstandings.

Between 2016 and 2019, Paul also created audiovisual content for the Canal+ group, first with his short programs "What The Fuck France" and "What's Up France," and then with his documentary series "Stereotrip." His trademark is to decipher, with cutting-edge humor but always with kindness, the little quirks and cultural habits of the French and our European neighbors! Thanks to these formats, Paul quickly became a phenomenon on social media, with nearly 200 million cumulative views, thousands of subscribers on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. He also became a successful comedian, filling the most prestigious venues in Paris, France, and all over the world.

His second show, "So British or Almost," began in October 2019 and addressed more personal topics such as parenthood and identity crisis. After a sudden stop due to the Covid-19 health crisis, performances resumed and success was once again on the horizon. Paul performed "So British..." to sold-out crowds at the Grand Rex in Paris and the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire in London, where he recorded his show, now available in its entirety on YouTube.

At the end of 2022, he decided to launch his third show, "Bisoubye x." First testing the waters with 19 sold-out shows at the Scala Paris, he then celebrated his 10-year career at the Cigale on January 4, 2023! He will be at the Nouvelle Eve from January 19 to April 1, 2023, and then will embark on a worldwide tour! The Taylor phenomenon is only just beginning.

About BISOUBYE X

Spectacle bilingue I Bilingual show

Salut, hi!

Je m’appelle Paul, je suis Anglais et j’habite en France. J’ai fait deux spectacles bilingues
intitulés "#FRANGLAIS” et “So British ou presque”. They both went really well, so I’m doing a third show ! Jamais deux sans trois, right ? À part les enfants. Dans ce cas là, un seul suffit ! One and done.

It’s called “Bisoubye x” and as the name suggests, the show is about having to say goodbye to a certain number of things in my life to be able to move on to the next chapter.

Si t’as déjà vu mes deux premiers spectacles et toutes mes vidéos sur les réseaux, ne t’inquiète pas, ce sont des nouvelles blagues (oui oui, il y en a qui bossent !)

Le concept reste donc pareil. Il y aura des blagues en français and there’ll be jokes in English. It’s a live show so there are no subtitles, donc ramène ta pinte et ton dictionnaire !
