Movie Night

Discover a French movie with us!

Join us on Wednesday, February 22nd at 6:00 p.m. for a screening of "Chocolat," a 2016 French drama film directed by Roschdy Zem and starring the famous French actor Omar Sy.

From circus to theatre, anonymity to glory, this is the incredible destiny of the clown Chocolat, the first black artist of the French scene. The original duo he formed with Footit was a huge success in the Paris of the Belle Epoque before fame, easy money, gambling and discrimination wore off their friendship and Chocolat’s career. The film tells the story of this extraordinary artist.

The screening will take place in the AFC library and is suitable for adults only. The film is in French without subtitles. Spots are limited, so please register only if you plan to attend. This is a FREE activity exclusively reserved for AFC members.
