The pace is 1.5 hours per week over 12 weeks with 8 students maximum in the class. Your child will take part of a fun and interactive class each week. The teacher will engage the children with lots of active interaction, including songs, games, out-loud reading, speaking and other verbal practice :

Part 1 : Start of the class with games and review.

Part 2 : Discover the topic of the day. The class will work with the textbook and the teacher will provide engaging learning material and games for your child , which reinforce the language skills  (e.g. vocabulary practice, written tasks or listening comprehension).

Part 3 : Practice your speaking skills with fun exercises with the class. 

In this class, students will continue learning basics in French, including but not limited to:

• Talk about the importance of a problem
• Explain causes and consequences
• Express and defend a point of view
• Describe ways of taking action
• Talk about different cultures
• Present points to support an opinion
• Using metaphors
