A1 - Part 1
This class is for students who have never taken French classes in the past and who are complete beginners. In this class, we will
cover basics, including but not limited to:
- Learn alphabet and numbers
- Introducing oneself
- Talk about countries and nationalities
- Ask for and give information
- Express likes and dislikes
- Talk about school subjects and schedule
We will also focus on practicing grammar, specifically:
- Important verbs: être, avoir, s’appeler, aimer, habiter, faire
- Structures c’est / ce n’est pas, il y a / il n’y a pas
- Definite and indefinite articles
- Masculine and feminine forms
- Negative form
- Possessive pronouns

A1 - Part 2
This class is for false beginner. In this class, students will learn some basics in French, including but not limited to:
- Describe personalities and appearances
- Talk about clothing
- Introduce family members
- Talk about hobbies and activities
- Learn basic vocabulary around shopping
- Ordering at a restaurant
- Talk about favourite foods
We will also focus on practicing grammar, specifically:
- Common adjectives and adverbs
- Verbs aller, mettre, jouer, lire, pouvoir, prendre
- Question words and structures: comment, pourquoi, quand, combien, est-ce que, qu’est-ce que
- Pronoun on
- Imperative mode

A1 - Part 3
This class is for false beginner. In this class, students will learn some basics in French, including but not limited to:
- Talk about daily routine
- Express how one feels
- Talk about health and give advice
- Invite, accept and refuse an invitation
- Describe location and place
- Talk about experiences and events
- Describe a trip
We will also focus on practicing grammar, specifically:
- Pronominal verbs
- Verbs finir, devoir, falloir
- Use of imperative mode in negative form
- New tenses: futur proche, passé composé
- Prepositions of place
- Pronouns qui / où
