A2.1 Elementary
This course is designed for elementary students who already have a basic understanding of French, including the present, past, and future tenses. Through this course, students will build on their existing knowledge and continue to learn essential French language basics:
- Reviewing the passé composé tense
- Describing objects
- Using relative pronouns
- Presenting artists and inventions
- Talking about health
- Giving advice
The course material will be based on Défi 2, units 1 & 2.
Pace: 24 hours or 20 hours for small groups (5-6 students)
A2.2 Elementary
In this course, students will continue learning and practicing skills in French, including but not limited to:
- Talking about food and eating habits
- Learning how to express your opinions
- Reviewing the impératif tense
- Discussing sports
- Giving recommendations
- Learning about the futur simple and conditionnel tenses
The course material will be based on Défi 2, units 3 & 4.
Pace: 24 hours or 20 hours for small groups (5-6 students)
A2.3 Elementary
In this class, students will continue learning and practicing skills in French, including but not limited to:
- Talking about one's studies
- Discussing one's job and professional experiences
- Learning about présent continu and passé récent
- Expressing and discussing one's emotions
- Using modal verbs such as devoir, pouvoir, and more
The course material will be based on Défi 2, units 5 & 6.
Pace: 24 hours or 20 hours for small groups (5-6 students)
A2.4 Elementary
In this class, students will continue learning and practicing skills in French, including but not limited to:
- Talking about architecture and city life
- Sharing their opinions on books and films
- Learning about the imparfait tense and using it to describe habits
- Talking about travelling experiences
- Learning about the participe présent and gérondif
The course material will be based on Défi 2, units 7 & 8.
