Join us at La Cité des Rocheuses on Saturday, February 24th at 7:00 p.m. for a musical experience presented by la compagnie Nyna Valès.
Yann Savel, the creative force behind both the personal repertoire and new compositions, is at the helm of all French songs and musical
production for this exciting project. Simon Nwambeben, lending his vocals and African percussion, will captivate with the Bafia language,
the traditional dialect of the Bantous people of Cameroon. The convergence of acoustic and electronic music will serve as a bridge between
eras and cultures. This musical dialogue will be enriched by the vibrant voice of Nathalie Carudel and the musicality and virtuosity of
Sissokho on the kora, the emblematic instrument of West Africa.
Witness a fusion of strings, texts, languages, styles, and instrumental timbres –
a harmonious and unconventional musical union, at times written and at times improvised.
