Join us on Wednesday, May 31st at 6:00 p.m. for a screening of "L'Odyssée," a French biographical film about French oceanographer Jacques-Yves Cousteau, directed by Jérôme Salle in 2016.
The movie follows Jacques-Yves Cousteau and his family as they embark on a risky and ambitious adventure to explore the depths of the ocean in their custom-built ship, the Calypso. Along the way, they face many challenges, including encounters with sharks, whales, and other marine creatures, as well as personal struggles and conflicts within the family. The movie is a tribute to Cousteau's legacy as a visionary explorer and environmentalist, and highlights the importance of preserving the oceans for future generations.
The screening will take place in the AFC library and is suitable for adults only. The film is in French without subtitles. Spots are limited, so please register only if you plan to attend. This is a FREE activity exclusively reserved for AFC members
