TCF Canada Registration process

Step 1 - Selection of the Appropriate Test

Ensure the test you choose matches your needs. Remember, the Alliance Française of Calgary and its staff are not liable for your test choice. For any doubts, consult the immigration services or a relevant authority. 

Step 2 - Date Selection and Payment

Please choose your date and complete the payment process with a credit card. Refunds are not available.

IMPORTANT

All 2026 exam dates will be published on this page. We are currently working with our partners in Paris to open additional sessions.

This page is the most up-to-date source of information—please check it regularly, as our reception team does not have additional details. New dates will always be posted here first.

Please do not call regarding exam dates. Our TEF/TCF Manager works remotely and is not available by phone.

All exams are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. We appreciate your patience and ask that all interactions with our staff remain respectful.

Step 3 - Detail Submission

You will receive an email with a link to complete the TCF registration form. Please fill it out carefully and upload a valid ID (driver’s license or passport).

Once submitted, we will process your registration on the France Éducation International platform and send you a confirmation email. Please note that this is done manually during business hours.

Make sure you have purchased your exam spot before submitting the form, as unpaid registrations will be voided.

If you do not receive a confirmation within one week, please contact us to verify your registration status.


Step 4 - Preparation (optional)

For effective exam preparation, consider the resources from the Prepmyfuture platform which provides a comprehensive suite of practice materials tailored to the TCF exam format. Access to Prepmyfuture TCF is available for a $60 fee below.

No refund or deferment is possible. Cancellations for climatic or personal reasons are not possible.

Any request for cancellation without refund must be submitted by email to tests@afcalgary.ca.
