We Love Music, Do You?
> Social Event
We are pleased to announce a new edition of the Fête de la Musique, a free and inclusive celebration of live music in all its forms. Originally launched in France in 1982 by the Ministry of Culture, this worldwide event highlights musical expression from both amateur and professional artists across all genres.
This year in Calgary, the celebration will take place outdoors in front of cSPACE Marda Loop. The program will feature a dynamic lineup of talented artists performing one after another on an open-air stage, creating an evening of continuous live music and vibrant energy.
In addition to the performances, the event will include activities for children, making it a welcoming experience for families and all ages. Food and beverage options will also be available on-site through our partners, offering guests the opportunity to purchase drinks and snacks throughout the event.
Please note: the event is free and open to everyone. Food and beverages are available for purchase

About La Fête de la Musique
The Fête de la Musique is a popular music celebration that began in France in 1982, created by the French Ministry of Culture. Held every year on June 21, it turns public spaces into free stages where both amateur and professional musicians perform.
In France, it has become a major cultural tradition that promotes accessibility, diversity, and shared musical expression. Today, it is celebrated in many Francophone countries and around the world, spreading a spirit of openness and community through music.
