Alliance Française Calgary - Story-Act Kids

Story-Act Kids

> Children Activities

Come join us for Story-Act Kids, presented by a children’s literacy educator Anne Cloarec and our Youth Leader Julien, on Saturday, April 25 at 10:30 a.m., for children ages 6–11. Enjoy a fun and interactive exploration of Graines de Pastèque by Greg Pizzoli through dramatic play and creative expression.

This workshop invites children to play with the book Graine de pastèque. In the Treehouse at cSPACE, we will step through the door into an imaginary world where we’ll meet a crocodile who loves watermelon! Through playful storytelling and creative exploration, children will discover what might happen if the crocodile eats a little too much watermelon… Could he grow into a giant watermelon himself?

Come ready to imagine, play, and explore the story together!

Participation is reserved for children. Guardians are welcome to our Café Croissant on the third floor.

Please note that this event will be presented in French.

Anne Cloarec is a bilingual educator, artist, and learning specialist who helps children grow into confident readers, writers, and storytellers in both French and English.

She creates creative environments where children explore stories through play, art, and movement — so literacy feels joyful, not stressful. Her approach sees literacy not just as something to learn, but as something to live.
