Alliance Française Calgary - Exhibition & Game Ceramics

Assiettes Rébus par les temps qui courent

> Fun Exhibition

The Alliance Française is delighted to host “Décodage de l’exposition Rébus par les temps qui courent” by Mireille Perron.

Her work, including installations and artistic experiments, invites participants to explore language, imagery, and social commentary through interactive rebus plates. Each rebus combines images and letters to represent words or expressions, offering a playful yet thought-provoking approach to the urgent issue of climate change.

During the event, participants will join a decoding game with a selection of rebuses in French, culminating in a draw for smaller rebus plates that served as trials for the main series. This is a unique opportunity to engage with art, language, and the environment all at once.

This activity is intended for advanced French speakers.
