Poésie Workshop
> Social
Join us for a playful and thought-provoking poetry workshop inspired by the Dada movement and the avant-garde spirit of the early 20th
century. Led in French by Marie-Pierre, this hands-on session encourages participants to embrace chance,
creativity, and complete freedom of expression.
Using newspapers, scissors, and a touch of randomness, participants will create their own Dada poems—discovering how poetry can arise from the unexpected. The workshop will also introduce blackout poetry, a technique rooted in Dadaist and Surrealist practices, where new meanings emerge by erasing parts of an existing text.
This workshop is an invitation to rediscover literature as a space of experimentation, liberation, and joyful rebellion. No prior writing experience is required, only curiosity and a willingness to let chance guide your words.
Please note that the workshop will be conducted in French, and a minimum B1 level is required to participate.
