The Alliance Française of Calgary is delighted to present the third edition of its Fashion Show!
Following last year’s remarkable success, we are thrilled to return with an even more exciting and inspiring program that celebrates style, creativity, and innovation in fashion.
This year’s theme, Fashion Icons and Legendary Looks, will feature a thought-provoking conference and a stunning runway show, giving attendees the chance to explore the evolution of fashion and iconic style moments. The event will conclude with a friendly cocktail reception, providing the perfect opportunity to mingle, exchange ideas, and celebrate fashion together in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.

- Fashion Icons and Legendary Looks — a panel talk with Sigrid Septier & Nancy Adie. Please note that the presentation will be conducted in both English and French.
- A dazzling runway show by ModeModels, featuring 4 stylists’ creations inspired by designers
- A friendly cocktail reception to mingle and share

Heather Hill
Owner of Kept Collective.
Heather Hill is a fashion enthusiast who is passionate about prolonging the life of clothing through thrifting, reselling and upcycling. As the owner of Kept Clothing Collective in Calgary, she curates a vintage and secondhand boutique alongside 20+ independent vendors. Kept showcases unique, high quality and affordable pieces with a focus on sustainability and style.
Erica Foulds
Founder of Radiant Heart
Radiant Heart Vintage grew from a lifelong love of 60’s-70’s fashion, patterns, colour and maximalist styling. What began as a personal collection, mostly from travels around the world, that outgrew my closet(s) is now a curated collection of true vintage items that I style and sell. I adore the quality, detail and history of vintage and try to chose items that will be statement pieces while fitting into a modern wardrobe. I post a vintage outfits regularly on my IG to offer ideas of how to style true vintage in daily life.
Katrina Martinez
Professional runner / Wardrobe Stylist and Prop stylist.
Based in Calgary, she is a wardrobe stylist with over 10 years of experience. Starting out as a model, she quickly transitioned into styling, working alongside leading photographers and makeup artists before spending 8 years as a key stylist for a local production company. Today, she continues her work in commercial styling while also offering personal styling and home organization services — helping clients feel confident in their style and create functional, welcoming spaces.
Sigrid Septier
Founder of Gloriette Vintage.
Sigrid is known for her ability to breathe new life into vintage pieces, and her brand has become a go-to destination for fashion-forward shoppers looking for unique and stylish clothing.
With her keen eye for style, her appreciation for vintage clothing and her entrepreneurial spirit, Sigrid has created a brand that resonates with fashion enthusiasts around the world.
Marie-Pierre Houle
Marie-Pierre has been passionate about fashion since childhood.
Before her sister was born, she would dress up her brothers and create outfits out of paper. As a child, she performed in a play entitled Les
noces d'Antoine et de Corine,
which was staged several times in Eastern Ontario.
Later, in high school, she joined the school theater troupe as costume manager. She also took part in the school’s fashion show, where she designed and made six outfits. Since then, she has continued to refine her skills, sewing and creating new pieces for herself in her free time.
Nancy Adie
Nancy is the creator behind Simply Styled Inspo where she shares all things DIY, decor and of course thrifting! She is truly passionate about thrifting and finding items to upcycle and integrate into her home decor that add the perfect touch of charm.
She absolutely loves finding unique pieces, giving them new life and completely transforming them into something else. She has become known for her thrift flips and hope to continue to inspire and be inspired within the wonderful thrift community.
Anneke Forbes
Anneke Forbes is a Calgary-based fashion designer specializing in custom jackets and coats for women. Her journey began in 1992 when her mother taught her to sew, igniting a lifelong passion for clothing construction. After completing university, she pursued formal fashion design education in Toronto, where she graduated at the top of her class. During this time, she developed a deep appreciation for overcoats and leather, which would become central to her design identity.
