Join French baker Bertrand Hasbroucq for an immersive bread-making workshop and discover the timeless techniques of French boulangerie. From mixing and kneading the dough to mastering fermentation, shaping loaves, scoring like a professional, and baking in the traditional way — you will experience every step of real artisan bread production.

This is a hands-on class where you will shape your own bread, learn the secrets behind perfect fermentation, and understand what makes French bread so unique. You’ll also take home the recipe in PDF format, along with the skills to recreate true bakery-quality bread in your own kitchen. And of course, you’ll leave with freshly baked bread to enjoy!

The workshop will be in French.

About Bertrand Hasbroucq

Bertrand Hasbroucq is a French artisan baker, pastry chef, chocolatier, and confectioner, born in 1964 in the north of France.

He began his career as a baker at the age of 16, quickly developing a deep passion for traditional French craftsmanship across baking, pastry, chocolate, and confectionery. After many years in the profession, he later transitioned into a career as an educator working with people in situations of disability.

Despite this career change, Bertrand has never lost his passion for bread-making. He continues to share his expertise and love for traditional French baking by regularly hosting workshops focused on bread and sourdough techniques.

Through his classes, he brings an authentic, hands-on approach to French boulangerie, passing on the values of patience, precision, and craftsmanship that have shaped his lifelong journey.
