Win a Trip to Bruxelles!

On Saturday, March 28th at 1:15 p.m. in the library of the Alliance Française, join us for an inter-alliance competition in Canada. The theme of this competition is Francophonie. You will be able to use your knowledge of French culture during a quiz based on categories such as music, geography, and many more!
The competition will take in four stages:
- Local Stage: Test your knowledge with 20 fun questions across 5 categories: history & geography, music, sports, literature, and visual arts (painting, sculpture, photography, cinema, new media…). Questions are easy to understand (A2 level), and some may even highlight your city or country’s Francophonie!
- National Stage: If you qualify, you’ll move on to the national quiz on April 11, at 2:00 p.m.. This will be a virtual event. It includes 25 multiple-choice questions on the same topics, all designed to be accessible (A2 level). Only one correct answer per question.
- Geographical Semifinal: The national winners from each country compete in a regional semifinal, also consisting of 25 questions. This stage is organized by the organizing committee and the Foundation. The semifinal will take place on May 23.
- International Final: The winners from each geographical region face off in the grand international final, held in Bruxelles in collaboration with the Alliance Française of Bruxelles, in July. The final will be broadcast live on Facebook via a partnership with TV5 MONDE.
The top two participants in the local stage will receive a $50 gift card, valid for courses or cultural activities at the Alliance Française.
The participation conditions are as follows: you must be over 18 years old, have a minimum level of A2,
and be a CURRENT STUDENT of the Alliance Française. To register, please read the terms and
conditions carefully!
Make sure to be available for the semi-final on Saturday, May 23rd, and the
final on Wednesday, july 8th at the Alliance Française Brussels-Europe, in person
before registering! This will help us with the event organization. Thank you!
