You’ll get hands-on experience shaping several baguettes yourself, take home the recipe in PDF, and leave with all the skills you need to recreate true French bakery magic in your own kitchen. You will also leave the class with freshly baked baguettes to enjoy at home!

About Saïd M’Dahoma

Saïd was born and raised in Paris, where he studied neuroscience. After earning his PhD, he moved to Alberta to work at the University of Calgary. Driven by nostalgia, he began recreating dishes from his French and Comorian heritage in his spare time. Over time, his passion for pastry outgrew his interest in science, which led him to change careers and become a full-time pastry chef. He especially loves making croissants and entremets!

Now, Saïd teaches French pastry to an online community of over 200,000 students worldwide, and he also offers in-person classes in Calgary. He is regularly invited on TV to share his expertise and passion for baking. According to the Calgary Herald, he is one of the 20 most inspiring Calgarians of 2025.
