Communication & Grammar Concepts

  • Basic communication skills: spelling, understanding instructions, following classroom instructions, and greetings.
  • Learning the alphabet.
  • Greetings and basic conversational skills: asking and telling personal information, how someone is doing, and who someone is.
  • Counting to 10 and learning numbers from 1 to 10.
  • Introducing yourself and your family members.
  • Colors and possessive adjectives and pronouns.
  • Basic French verbs: "avoir" (to have), "s'appeler" (to call oneself), "être" (to be), and "aimer" (to like/love).
  • Saying goodbye and taking leave.
  • Identifying and describing objects and people.
  • Expressing likes and dislikes, talking about schedules and school subjects.
  • Learning about toys, school supplies, days of the week, and silent letters.
  • Basic French grammar: verb conjugation (je, tu, il, elle, on) with "avoir", "s'appeler", "être", and "aimer".
