The Alliance Française of Calgary invites you to join its Drawing Contest on the theme of "Winter with the Alliance Française"!
Ready to get creative? From November 18 to December 8, 2025, children and teenagers aged 3 to 17 are invited to submit their artistic creations to the Alliance Française de Calgary Library.
The contest is free and open to everyone aged 3 to 17, divided into three categories:
Show us what winter means to you and unleash your creativity! All submitted artwork will be proudly displayed in the Alliance
Française Library until December 19, 2025.

Create your artistic submission using traditional techniques (such as paint, drawing, ink, pencil, or collage) on a Letter or A4 white sheet, using either horizontal or vertical orientation.
Write your full name, age, and an email address on the back of your artwork. You may submit only one creation per person, per category. Drop off your submission at the Alliance Française de Calgary Library before December 8, 2025. Submissions sent via email will not be accepted.
Submissions will be evaluated based on three criteria: originality, relevance to the theme, and artistic quality. Our jury will select nine winners in total: one winner for each of these three criteria within the three age categories (3–6, 7–11, and 12–17). Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
