A2.1 Elementary
This course is designed for elementary students who already have a basic understanding of French, including the present, past, and future tenses. Through this course, students will build on their existing knowledge and continue to learn essential French language basics:
- Ask questions formally and informally
- Use the recent past (passé récent) and the continuous present (être en train de)
- Express frequency with ne… jamais, parfois, souvent, etc.
- Review the passé composé (including reflexive verbs)
- Introduce the imparfait to describe past situations
- Use relative pronouns (qui, que)
- Form and use the futur simple
The course material will be based on Inspire 2, units 1 & 2.
Pace: 24 hours or 20 hours for small groups (5-6 students)
A2.2 Elementary
In this course, students will continue learning and practicing skills in French, including but not limited to:
- Using the pronoun on
- Making comparisons with adjectives, nouns, and adverbs
- Forming superlatives (le plus, le moins)
- Using direct and indirect object pronouns (y, en, etc.)
- Building the conditional present to give advice or make suggestions
- Expressing hypotheses with si + présent + futur and with espérer que + indicative
The course material will be based on Inspire 2, units 3 & 4.
Pace: 24 hours or 20 hours for small groups (5-6 students)
A2.3 Elementary
In this class, students will continue learning and practicing skills in French, including but not limited to:
- Express manner and intensity
- Talk about your shopping habits and express quantity
- Learn how to tell a story in the past with a understanding of differences between imparfait and passé composé
- Use prepositions and expressions of duration
- Express the cause and consequence
- Use of the demonstrative pronouns (celui-ci, celle-là...)
The course material will be based on Inspire 2, units 5 & 6.

A2.4 Elementary
In this class, students will continue learning and practicing skills in French, including but not limited to:
- Give your opinion and express contradiction
- Discussing cultural habits and bias
- Describe your travel experiences
- Reviewing passé composé and imparfait, discovering le plus-que-parfait
- Participate in debates
- Use of the relative structures ce qui, ce que
The course material will be based on Inspire 2, units 7 & 8.

Conversation Group A2 - Café-Presse
Refine your conversational skills and expand your vocabulary in our Café-Presse class at the A2 level! Through lively interactions, you'll gain the confidence to engage in conversations with French speakers.
- Enrich your vocabulary by exploring current news in French
- Become more comfortable in conversations
- Develop your ability to speak
The material is prepared by our teachers and provided at the start of each class.
Pace: 12 hours or 10 hours for small groups (5-6 students)
Conversation Group A2
Join our French conversation class at the A2 level (A2.1 and above) and improve your ability to communicate in French! Our one-hour lunchtime class is perfect for busy students with limited time who want to improve their speaking skills in a friendly atmosphere. In this class, you will:
- Explore the basic structure of conversations in French
- Enrich your vocabulary by discussing familiar topics
- Practice using common phrases and basic grammar rules
- Improve your speaking skills in a supportive environment
The class size is limited to 8 participants and the material is provided at the start of each class.
Pace: 8 hours
