Delf Junior

Tests the same skills as the DELF exam but with material designed for kids and teens.

The DELF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française) Junior is a diploma issued by the French Ministry of National Education in recognition of French-language studies. The junior version of DELF has the same basic structure as the standard DELF. Only the topics are different: the materials take into account the interests of young people. This is designed for children between 12 and 18 years of age.

The DELF examinations are recognized around the world, and your child will receive a diploma valid for the rest of his or her life! The diploma awarded is identical to the standard DELF diploma.

It is now widely implemented in Alberta school systems and all across Canada. The examinations are independent, and candidates can register for the examination of their choice. Each examination evaluates the four communication skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking.

To see a detailed overview of the DELF examinations, sample exams and examples of students' work, you can check the official website dedicated to the DELF examinations in Canada: http://delf-dalf.ambafrance-ca.org/delf-schools-junior

The Alliance Française regularly offers preparation classes for the DELF exams. Do not hesitate to contact us for more information.

If you are a teacher and wish to organize a DELF session for a large number of students, contact us at least one month prior to the DELF examination date. Please note that there will be an organizational fee to organize a session in your school (for a large number of students).
