Delf Junior Examination
Tests the same skills as the DELF exam but with material designed for kids and teens.
The DELF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française) Junior is a diploma issued by the French Ministry of National Education in recognition of French-language studies. The junior version of DELF has the same basic structure as the standard DELF. Only the topics are different: the materials take into account the interests of young people.
The DELF examinations are recognized around the world, and your child will receive a diploma valid for the rest of his or her life! The diploma awarded is identical to the standard DELF diploma.
The DELF junior examinations align with four different levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL). It can be taken by children of secondary-level age (recommended age: 12 and above).
It is now widely implemented in Alberta school systems and all across Canada. The examinations are independent, and candidates can register for the examination of their choice. Each examination evaluates the four communication skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking.
