CODING FOR KIDS
On Tuesday, February 2nd (4:30 p.m.), join Kids Code Jeunesse (KCJ) online in this beginner-friendly 1.5 hour long class to take your coding skills to infinity-and beyond!
Keen to get your kids coding and unsure where to start? All you need is 1,5 hour, and KCJ can provide a ready-to-play project to get your kids coding in no time.
The topic of the day is easy: tell your own story by creating an animation with Scratch!
Working in small groups of 8 per session, we will learn how to incorporate basic programming concepts of sequencing and loops.
For kids aged 8-12 - no coding experience required.
FREE, online activity in French.
All you need is a:
- stable connection to the internet
- A laptop or computer. Tablets will NOT work.
- A webcam is recommended, if possible.
- A web browser: we will be using Whereby — no download needed!
You'll receive a link to connect prior to the event.
KCJ is dedicated to support the UN’s Global Goals through #kids2030, their initiative to educate over 1,000,000 kids and 50,000 educators on AI & ethics, and on using technology to achieve the UN’s Global Goals by the year 2030. Learn more here!
