Alliance Française Calgary - Soirée Cinéma

Le sens de la fête

> Soirée Ciné

Enjoy the screening of Le Sens de la fête (2017), a sparkling French comedy directed by Éric Toledano & Olivier Nakache (the duo behind Intouchables).

Max has been a caterer for over 30 years. He’s seen it all, and today he’s organizing yet another lavish wedding in a stunning 17th-century château. With everything seemingly under control — the staff hired, the band booked, the flowers arranged — what could go wrong? Well… everything.

As Murphy’s Law takes hold, what was meant to be a picture-perfect evening spirals into chaos. From backstage dramas to unexpected disasters, we follow Max and his crew through the hilarious ups and downs behind the scenes of the big day — all driven by one shared skill: their true “Sens de la fête”

The screening will take place in the AFC library and is suitable for adults only. The film is in French with French subtitles. Spots are limited, so please register only if you plan to attend. This is a FREE activity exclusively reserved for AFC members.
