Alliance Française Calgary - Fête de la Muique

We Love Music, Do You?

> Social Event

We are pleased to announce a new edition of the Fête de la Musique, a free and inclusive event that celebrates live music in all its forms. Originally launched in France in 1982 by the Minister of Culture, this annual celebration promotes musical expression from both amateur and professional artists across all genres.

This year’s Calgary event will kick off with live music from the talented Tina Hartt and her band, opening the evening with a vibrant set. After that, the stage is yours—Tina will leave the instruments on stage for an open jam session. Whether you’re an amateur musician, a passionate performer, or just a curious spirit, this is your moment!

If you’d like to sing or play on stage, simply fill out this form! If you prefer to enjoy the music as part of the audience, just click "Register" below to sign up.

Please note: The event is FREE and open to all. However, the cost of food and beverages is the responsibility of the participants.

This activity is free, but we encourage you to support Alliance Française Calgary by becoming a member ($60/year). You'll enjoy exclusive benefits all year round, and your membership greatly helps our organization.  Learn more here.

About Tina Hartt

Born in Montréal, bilingual jazz vocalist Tina Hartt captivates with a sensual voice that evokes forgotten passions. A former saxophonist, Tina’s improvisational style is deeply influenced by her years as a musician. She seamlessly blends influences from vintage Parisian chansons, jazz standards, and original compositions. With effortless transitions between styles, her voice perfectly complements unique arrangements that feature clarinet, violin, accordion, and vibrant Latin rhythms. Since relocating to Calgary, Tina has graced the stage at renowned venues such as Jack Singer Hall, the Grand Theatre, Grey Eagle Casino, Ironwood Bar & Grill, Asylum for Art, Alvin’s Jazz Club, and Blackfoot Hotel, in addition to performing at various concert series.
