Dive into the art of handbuilding in this two-session ceramics workshop, led by Patricia Lortie. Learn fundamental techniques like slab building, pinching, coiling, and carving to craft your own unique piece—be it a bowl, plate, vase, wall relief, mug, or small sculpture.​

In the first session, you'll shape your creation using various handbuilding methods. The second session focuses on decoration, where you'll apply colored slips and explore surface textures to bring your piece to life. Between sessions, your work will undergo a bisque firing in a pottery kiln, and after the final touches, it will be glaze-fired to achieve a finished look.​

This hands-on experience offers a comprehensive introduction to ceramics, allowing you to learn, create, and take home a personalized ceramic artwork.
