Hike Galatea Lakes
> Sport
The Galatea Lakes hike is a popular trail in Spray Valley Provincial Park that leads to upper Galatea Lake and offers great scenic views. The hike climbs right out of the gate, crossing bridges over Galatea Creek and passing beautiful waterfalls. The dirt trail is mostly sheltered by forest up to Lillian Lake. The section up to the upper and lower Galatea Lakes is steep and exposed with loose rocks and wind. Enjoy great views of Lillian Lake from the top.
Please be aware that in the event of unfavorable weather, the hike may be canceled. Participants are responsible for their own transportation, and we recommend researching the trail beforehand to ensure it matches your fitness level. Additional details will be provided via email prior to the event.
Also, please note that a Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required for parking in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley areas.
