Hike Strange Brew Loop
> Sport
The 9.3-km loop trail near Bragg Creek, Alberta, is a moderately challenging route that takes around 3 hours to complete. It’s a popular spot for birding, hiking, and mountain biking, open year-round with dogs welcome on a leash. The trail connects Ranger Summit, Strange Brew, and Boundary Trails, with Strange Brew often muddy, especially in spring and early summer.
The hike features moderate inclines and offers scenic views of surrounding hills and occasional mountain vistas. It’s a great option for those seeking a rewarding outdoor experience without being too difficult.
Please be aware that in the event of unfavorable weather, the hike may be canceled. Participants are responsible for their own transportation, and we recommend researching the trail beforehand to ensure it matches your fitness level. Additional details will be provided via email prior to the event.
Also, please note that a Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required for parking in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley areas.
