Try a new activity in French! 

On Saturday, July 23^rd  at 10:45 a.m, join us at beautiful Johnson Lake near Banff for a Stand Up Paddleboarding initiation class in French with a professional coach. The location is absolutely amazing and it is ideal to start this new activity! Try it once and you will be hooked! 

Never paddled before? Or perhaps you’ve thought of giving SUP a try but didn’t know where to start?  
No worries! With almost 10 years of experience, our Francophone instructor will let you discover the basics of Stand Up Paddleboarding. Learn about water safety and how to get comfortable standing up, and develop your skills to maneuver the board. After this intro session you’ll be absolutely hooked!

The workshop is open for adults ONLY. No previous paddleboarding experience is required. 

AF Members: $100 / Non-members: $125

The price includes:

• The equipment: a PFD (personal floatation device), SUP, paddle and leash.
• The class with a professional Francophone instructor accompanied by Sophie, our courses manager

All courses are led by a Paddle Canada Certified SUP Guide. The course length is approximately 1.5 hours. There may be a possibility of carpooling (contact us at culture@afcalgary.ca).
