Calling all gourmet lovers of French pastries! Join us on Wednesday December 13th (6-8p.m.) to discover the art of making the delicious "coquilles," an iconic pastry from Northern France baked every year at Christmas time. Immerse yourself in French gastronomic culture while learning to create these sweet delights.
Our cooking workshop will be conducted in French, providing an immersive opportunity to enhance your language skills while delving into the secrets of French cuisine. Our chef, Bertrand, will guide participants through each step of the coquilles preparation, sharing culinary tips and insights into the tradition of this regional pastry. During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to get hands-on and prepare their own "Coquilles." Bertrand will share cooking techniques, tips, and information about the ingredients used.
At the end of the class, take home 2 coquilles that you personally made but also a copy of the recipe in both French and English, enabling you to recreate this delightful experience at home!
We'll supply all the ingredients for the recipe, but we ask you to bring your own kitchen equipment (a
mixing bowl and a clean tea towel).
