Know more about the trio

Piano and composition: Lorenzo Naccarato
Drums: Benjamin Naud
Double bass: Adrien Rodriguez

Lorenzo Naccarato studied classical piano for ten years before enrolling in a musicology curriculum at the university in 2007, with a specialization in jazz and improvised music. He created the Lorenzo Naccarato Trio in 2012.

The band presents a cinematic music inspired from the impressionist and minimalist repertoire and from repetitive music. Their first album, released in March 2016 on the label Laborie Jazz, received a very warm welcome from the public and the media. The second album Nova Rupta was released after their first international tour, in 2018.

Contacted by Radici, a Franco-Italian review, Lorenzo Naccarato wrote the orchestrations of a show on Italian cinema soundtracks. More recently, he created two "ciné-concerts" (live music during a movie projection) for the Cinémathèque de Toulouse. Since 2017, during the literary festival Le Marathon des mots, he has been performing live with illustrator Bruno Liance on the subject of Nina Simone's and Thelonious Monk's lives.
