Join us on Saturday, February 08th at 10:00 a.m. at the library of Alliance Française for a Fanzine workshop
while practicing French.
But first, what is a Fanzine ?
A fanzine is a self-published, non-commercial magazine created by fans for fans, often dedicated to niche interests such as
music, art, literature, or pop culture. They are typically handmade, with contributors sharing original content like
illustrations, articles, or fanfiction. Fanzines embrace a DIY ethos and are often distributed in small print runs or
digitally among like-minded communities.
Over time, the creation of fanzines has shifted away from fan narratives to focus on showcasing original stories.
To sum up, a Fanzine is a fun, crafty , scrapbook-inspired way to share a little story.
Come practice your French in a fun and creative way.
This event is free and exclusive to our members and is limited to 12 participants and is open to those aged 15 and above.
