The walden trio

plays Chausson, Mozart and Grieg

The Alliance Française of Calgary and Calgary Pro Musica are thrilled to announce that the Walden Trio will perform an exceptional concert in the cSPACE Studio Theatre. The concert will start at 8PM on Friday, January 19th, 2018.

Daniel Dastoor (violin), Andrew Park (cello) and Daniel Szefer (piano) are part of the young artists development program of Calgary Pro Musica, an organization promoting chamber music in Calgary. Both Daniel Dastoor and Daniel Szefer have been selected to compete as finalists in the 2018 Concerto Competition with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra.

The Walden Trio will be performing the Piano Trio in G minor by Ernest Chausson, a romantic French composer from the second half of the 19th century. They will also play Mozart's Piano Trio in E major, K.542, as well as Grieg's Andante con moto for piano trio.
