Larch Valley in Banff
On September 24th, take part in a French hike at Larch Valley with Mariette!
Let's meet at 11AM at Moraine Lake Parking Lot (follow the lakeshore, right, to the trail marker sign).
Bring your lunch! We will stop at a picnic area to eat together.
Things to know:
Length: about 4 hours
Distance: 8 km
Difficulty: Moderate (steep, nontechnical hike)
The hike into Larch Valley is a must for any hiker wanting to have an experience that closely resembles the backcountry of Banff National Park. This moderate hike offers remarkable views of the Ten Peaks. The valley is spectacular in autumn when the larch needles turn gold.
This is a FREE event.
Please be aware that the hike might get cancelled
due to bad weather conditions. Make sure to bring a raincoat just in case !
Do not hesitate to contact Mariette for more info!
