with delicious home-made quiches
and the ultimate French coktail : le kir 
a mix of crème de cassis (blackcurrant) with a great Muscadet (from Metrovino) !

Kir is the most emblematic cocktail of France, prepared with a measure of crème de cassis (blackcurrant liquor) topped up with white wine.

It is usually drank as an apéritif before a meal and is typically prepared with a white wine from Burgundy. Its original name is blanc-cassis.The name Kir comes from the mayor of Dijon, Félix Kir, who used to serve this cockatil during official events.

Quiche (pronounce KEESH) is a popular French dish from the Lorraine region. It comes in many variants and can be served hot or cold. It is the perfect party food! Its name come from the german word for cake: Kuchen.

Enjoy these great specialties on March 11th, served with a great deal of fun.
