Conférence en français

"L'histoire des francophones en Alberta depuis le 18ème siècle"

Wednesday, January 31st, at 6pm

We are proud to welcome three acknowledged researchers for a shared talk about the francophonie in Alberta during a special conference in French. The presentation  will be divided in three parts; Don Smith will start with a general presentation of the period running from the 18th century to the 1990's, then Antoine Eche will focus on four specific years from 1913 to 1917 through the story of Swiss pioneer André Borel, and finally Gilles Mossière will examine a case-study on Gérard Mousseron, a modern francophone Calgarian.

The presentation will take place in the Treehouse of cSPACE (4th floor) and will be followed by an open talk with questions and answers.

It's a free event but registration is mandatory:
