On May 11th & 12th, participate in an immersion weekend in the Rockies to practice French in a stunning environment!
The rendez-vous point will be Good Earth ( 718 8 8 St) in Canmore at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 11.
what we have planned
Saturday, May 11th:
1:00-3:00 p.m. - Rendez-vous à Good Earth Café
3:00-5:00 p.m. - Rendez-vous at Grassi Lakes parking lot for the hike
5:00-7:00 p.m. - Rendez-vous at Canmore Scout Hall (914, 8 Main Street) for activities in French
7:00-9:00 p.m. - Dinner at Chez François with a fixed set menu ($40 per person)
Sunday, May 12th:
9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. - Rendez-vous at Canmore Public Library (Program Room at 101-700 Railway Avenue) for activities in French
12:30-1:30 - Picnic by the river
1:00-5:00 p.m. - Cougar Creek Trail hike
All A2-B2 level students are welcome!
RSVP is mandatory as it helps us plan the event.
For Saturday night dinner, seats are limited to 25 people. Please reserve below by purchasing your menu (there will be a vegan option if needed). $40 for 3 courses (entrée, plats et desserts). Drinks not included.
Transportation and accommodation are at your expense (except Saturday Dinner) and to be planned/booked by yourself.
Please be aware that the hikes are subject to change due to weather conditions.
