French hiking

Be stunned by Lillian Lake's beauty!

On August 12th, join us to the French hike: the Galatea Creek Trail to Lillian Lake, at the south of Kananaskis!

We will begin our walk at 11AM until approximately 4PM!

The rendez-vous point will be Galatea and Lillian lakes trailhead parking lot , at Kananaskis Trail in Turner Valley. Make sure to arrive a little in advance. We will leave at 11AM sharp. Do not forget to bring your lunch, your beverages and your smile for the picnic!

Things to know: 

Length: about 4 hours
Distance: 13 km - 8 miles back and forth
Difficulty: Easy (great for beginners or visitors of the mountains)

The hike from Galatea Creek to Lillian Lake is an essential for the hikers wanting to have a great moment in beautiful environnements punctuated by impressive bridges in the surroundings of Kananaskis. This peaceful hike offers amazing views of the Galatea Lakes.

All levels are welcomed, so do not hesitate and join us!

due to bad weather conditions.

Note that we will depart the hike at 11AM sharp and will not be able to wait for latecomers. If you have seats available in your car and are willing to help other interested francophiles, we can put you in contact! Do not hesitate to contact Inès for more info!
