Teens - get ready for your DELF

Teens classes

This DELF Junior Preparation course is designed for students wanting to prepare for the DELF Junior B1 or B2 exams. The course, delivered by our expert DELF teachers, will focus on the methodology and format of the DELF exam, while giving students the opportunity to practise their French and enhance their communication skills.

The material will be provided by the teacher at the beginning of the class.


Pace: 18 hours or 15 hours for small groups (5 students or less)
Teens A1 - Beginner

Teens A1 Part 1

Teens classes

This class is for students who are complete beginners. In this class, we will cover basics, including but not limited to:

  • Discover French alphabet and numbers;
  • Learn to introduce oneself;
  • Talk about countries and nationalities;
  • Learn about important verbs (être, avoir, s'appeler...); 
  • Learn about the masculine and feminine forms.

Material used: A Plus 1, units 0 & 1.


Pace: 18 hours or 15 hours for small groups (5 students or less)

Teens A1 Part 3

Teens classes

This class is for false beginners. In this class, students will learn some basics in French, including but not limited to:

  • Describe one's personality and one's appearance; 
  • Talk about clothes and fashion; 
  • The use of adjectives;
  • Introduce family members; 
  • Talk about hobbies. 

Material used: A Plus 1, unit 3.


Pace: 18 hours or 15 hours for small groups (5 students or less)
Teens A2 - Elementary

Teens A2.1 Part 1

Teens classes

In this class, students will continue learning basics in French, including but not limited to:

  • Talk about technologies;  
  • Talk about famous people; 
  • Use of the verbs savoir and connaître; 
  • Use of the passé composé.

Material used: A Plus 2, units 1 & 2.


Pace: 18 hours or 15 hours for small groups (5 students or less)

Teens A2.2 Part 1

Teens classes

In this class, students will continue develop their skills and learn new structures, including but not limited to:

  • Talk about places and holiday;
  • Talk about relationships and family; 
  • Review the passé composé tense; 
  • Use of the conditionnel tense.

Material used: A Plus 3, units 1 & 2.


Pace: 18 hours or 15 hours for small groups (5 students or less)
Teens B1 - Intermediate

Teens B1 Part 1

Teens classes

In this class, students will develop their language skills, including but not limited to:

  • Talk about different cultures;  
  • Use of all the past tenses: passé composé, imparfait and plus-que-parfait
  • Use of the conditionnel présent
  • How to debate.

Material used: A Plus 4, unit 1.


Pace: 18 hours or 15 hours for small groups (5 students or less)

Teens B1 Part 2

Teens classes

In this class, students will develop their language skills, including but not limited to:

  • Talk about songwriting; 
  • Use of the adverbs; 
  • The familiar language;
  • Use of the pronouns y and en.

Material used: A Plus 4, unit 2.


Pace: 18 hours or 15 hours for small groups (5 students or less)

Teens B1 Part 4

Teens classes

In this class, students will develop their language skills, including but not limited to:

  • Talk about one's professional goals;  
  • Make hypotheses; 
  • Use of the futur simple and futur antérieur tenses; 
  • How to express conditions. 

Material used: A Plus 4, unit 4.


Pace: 18 hours or 15 hours for small groups (5 students or less)

With a regular group (6 students or more), there will be 12 classes (18 hours). With a small group (4 or 5 students), there will be 10 classes (15 hours) and the last 2 classes will be cancelled. The course will not open if less than 4 students register.
