The pace is 1.5 hours per week over 12 weeks with 12 students maximum in the class. Your child will take part of a fun and interactive class each week. The teacher will engage the children with lots of active interaction, including songs, games, out-loud reading, speaking and other verbal practice :

 Part 1 : Start of the class with games and review.

Part 2 : Discover the topic of the day. The class will work with the textbook and the teacher will provide engaging learning material and games for your child , which reinforce the language skills  (e.g. vocabulary practice, written tasks or listening comprehension).

Part 3 : Practice your speaking skills with fun exercises with the class. 

In this class, students will enhance their ability to communicate in French, learning to:

• Interviewing and asking questions
• Tell regrets
• Using indirect or reported speech
• Talk about memories
• Telling a story

• Using different types of open and closed questions
• Conditional mode: present and past
• Relatives pronouns : ce qui/que/dont
