This class is for students who are complete beginners or prefer to start learning French again from scratch. In this class, we will cover basics, including but not limited to:
- Discovering the French alphabet, as well as numbers;
- Learning to introduce yourself and someone else;
- Learning to greet people and use polite expressions;
- Talking about countries and traditions;
- Learning about the most common verbs in French;
- Learning to ask questions;
- Expressing likes and dislikes.

A1.2 False Beginner
This class is for false beginners or for people who have already been exposed to French in the past (in school for instance) and remember just a few things. In this class, students will learn some basics in French, including but not limited to:
- Talking about one's family;
- Talking about nationalities;
- Describing appearance and character;
- Learning about irregular verbs;
- Learning about the structure il faut;
- Describing one's home.
Material used: Défi 1, units 3 & 4.
Pace: 24 hours or 20 hours for small groups (5-6 students)
A1.3 Beginner
This class is for false beginners or for people who have already been exposed to French in the past (in school for instance) and remember basic things like common expressions and verbs. In this class, students will learn some basics in French, including but not limited to:
- Talking about your daily routine;
- Telling the time and date;
- Talking about one's hobbies and activities;
- Using reflexive verbs;
- Giving an invitation;
- Talking about travelling.
Material used: Défi 1, units 5 & 6.

A1.4 Beginner
This class is ideal for false beginners who remember basic structures in French, like common verbs in the present tense, and are ready to learn about other tenses in French (past, future and imperative). In this class, students will continue practicing important basics in French, including but not limited to:
- Asking for and giving directions;
- Talking about shopping;
- Learning about food;
- Expressing quantities;
- Learning the futur proche and impératif tenses;
- Discovering the passé composé tense.

In this class, students will continue learning and practicing skills in French, including but not limited to:
- Talking about food and eating habits;
- Learning how to express your opinions;

- Talking about sports;
- Giving recommendations;
- Learning about the futur simple and conditionnel tenses.

A2.3 Elementary
In this class, students will continue learning and practicing skills in French, including but not limited to:
- Talking about one's studies;
- Talking about one's job and professional experiences;
- Learning about présent continu and passé récent;
- Talking about one's emotions;
- Use some modal verbs (devoir, pouvoir...).
