VOLUNTEERING FOR THE MEDIA LIBRARY
The Media Library of the AFC is Calgary's best source for children and adult's literature, French teaching and learning materials, French language DVDs and CDs as well as a wide selection of French magazines. We are always looking for help with the following tasks:
- Labelling and covering books
- Organizing shelves
- Creating teaching tools
If you are interested in library technologies, and are looking to gain experience in the area, you may also be trained in library database management.

MEDIA LIBRARY VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES FOR MAY

The efforts of volunteers in creating the animating the Media Library have been recognised by a nomination for a Volunteer Calgary Leadership award. The Leader in Volunteer Engagement award recognized innovative and rewarding volunteer engagement opportunities in Calgary. Thousands of hours and volunteer commitment were necessary to develop the Alliance Française' media library. Thanks to all who were involved!
