Getting registered for French classes at the Alliance Française of Calgary is easy!

Detailed instructions to guide through each step of the registration process will be e-mailed to you by our automated system AVERA.Workflow for the Alliance Française of Calgary.

Beginners

Beginners can pre-register at www.afcalgary.ca/beginnerRegistration.html and complete the registration process in two easy steps:

Step 2:

Select your beginner class through the link received in your e-mail

Advanced users

For our Advanced Students, it is critical to assess the right language skill level, in four simple steps:

After pre-registration at www.afcalgary.ca/advancedUserRegistration.html, we ask you to take a free online written assessment (aka MERLIN test). After completion of the MERLIN test we invite you to have a conversation with one of our teachers, which is free and without any obligation. Based on the MERLIN test and the conversation we advise you of the language skill level offering you the most value.

Step 1:

Step 2:

Complete the free online level test MERLIN

Step 4:

Select your class through the link you received in your e-mail.

Step 3:

Have a free 15 minute conversation with one of our teachers.

Renewals

Renewals, i.e. students who already took a language class at the Alliance Française of Calgary in the previous 6 months, can register in three simple steps, starting at the login page at www.afcalgary.ca/renewalRegistration.html

Step 1:

Step 2:

Confirm your contact information through the link received in your e-mail

Step 3:

Select your class through the link received in your e-mail.
