MEDIA LIBRARY POLICIES

Membership at the Alliance Française of Calgary is necessary to borrow materials from the Media Library.

Membership is valid for one year.
Lost cards can be replaced for a fee of 5 dollars

> Borrowing
Membership cards of the AFC allow you to borrow the following materials:
- 4 books for 3 weeks
- 3 magazines for 3 weeks (excluding the current issue)
- 3 DVD for 3 weeks
- 2 CD for 3 weeks
You may renew your material once, by phone or e-mail.
Please note that for those who have a family membership, it is possible to borrow more material. Please ask the Media Librarian for more information.
> Late returns
Please return your borrowed materials to the Alliance Française. There is not outside return slot and that as such, materials must be returned within office hours. For more information on our administrative hours of operation, see our Contact page.
Please respect our other members and return your materials on time. Materials returned after the due-date will be penalized by the suspension of borrowing privileges. The lenght of time will be calculated according to the amount of time the materials are overdue.
If materials are more than 10 days overdue, a late fee of one dollar per day will be billed to the borrower.
All damaged or lost document will be reimbursed on the value of the item.
