 FRENCH PLACEMENT TEST

You do not need to take the Placement Test, if...

     - You have never studied French before (skip the test & register for a A1.1         class)
     - You are a continuing AFC student and you know your previous level

You must take the test if...

     - You are a new student to AFC and have prior experience with French .
        For example, can you introduce yourself in French? Did you study French         in high school or university, even if that was a few years ago?

This placement test will help us to assess your level of French skills and then help you choose the course appropriate to your level and needs.
   

This written test takes about 10 minutes to complete and is in 2 parts:

1. An initial self-assessment where you let us know what skills you can manage in French.
2. A quick written test corresponding to the skill-level outlined by your self-assessment..
