Classe de littérature - L'étranger d'Albert Camus

....................................................................................

The Alliance Française presents to you its new Literature Class!

With our teacher Donia, come discover all the hidden meanings and secrets behind the best French books. In March/April, we will discuss "L'étranger", considered as Camus' masterpiece. A novel which embodies the existentialist philosophy.

Here is a summary of this still modern story :
Albert Camus portrays Meursault, the book’s narrator and main character, as aloof, detached, and unemotional. He does not think much about events or their consequences, nor does he express much feeling in relationships or during emotional times. He displays impassiveness throughout the book in his reactions to the people and events described in the book...

"Aujourd'hui, maman est morte. Ou peut-être hier, je ne sais pas."

The classes will take place on  April 7th, 14th and 21st from 1.45 to 3.45pm, for a total of 6 hours.
You have to have at least a  B2 level to take the class.

Please read the novel before attending the class.

The cost for the three classes is  $120.
